They have begun construction of yet another loft project in Buffalo. This site sits between the existing Ellicott Lofts and the Washington Market. The new sold out IS Lofts are right behind it.
the d.c. market is getting oversaturated with condos, especially luxury. how's the bflo market doing? they're kind of the only affordable thing in the city, but i don't know what their resale value is like.
Condos are starting to become very popular here. All the developers are switching gears on their loft projects on condos. People are realizing after a year of renting for $1200-2000 a month that they can own for less! So the demand is shifting.
I'm a single guy living in downtown Buffalo. I currently co-own abOUT Magazine, a gay and lesbian publication covering western New York and southern Ontario Canada. I started the magazine and am currently a partner in it. I just started doing free lance work for Buffalo Rising Magazine and buffalorising.com. I spend my leisure time biking, reading, walking, and working out. I love to go camping whenever I get the chance. I love to cook and travel frequently. I was a fire fighter/EMT for just under 16 years. I was an Assistant Chief for 3 years. I'm currently on the county's SMART(Disaster Response) Team. This blog is a compilation of my adventures, writing, and photography.

By the way Jay, the structural steel was just brought in and you can even see that it's up in the background.
