My frustration with my work situation had brought me to the conclusion that I need to move on. I really miss the fire department and doing security/law enforcement work so I think I want to go back.

So today I went to an open recruitment for the U.S. Border Patrol. Great pay, lots of days off, and amazing benefits. I have also applied for the NFTA's Buffalo Niagara Airport Fire Department, and have been in contact with recruiters from Los Angeles P.D. and the Metropolitian Police Department (District of Columbia). Wish me luck in my job search!

Me and my friend Darrell went for a walk on the Bird Island Pier after the Italian Festival. We got there just in time to see the sunset and all the cool colors in the skyline. Here I am by the Niagara River.

I went to see Michael Moore's newest film documentary, "Sicko". I highly recommend that everyone sees this film. I believe it to be the best documentary film I've ever seen! It highlights just how bad corporate greed has gotten in this country.

Medical directors are making decisions that allow people to die for their companies financial profit. People are literally being dumped in the streets because they can't afford to pay for health care and 9/11 rescue workers are being rejected care for their ailments caused by their work at the site of the twin towers.
