My frustration with my work situation had brought me to the conclusion that I need to move on. I really miss the fire department and doing security/law enforcement work so I think I want to go back.So today I went to an open recruitment for the U.S. Border Patrol. Great pay, lots of days off, and amazing benefits. I have also applied for the NFTA's Buffalo Niagara Airport Fire Department, and have been in contact with recruiters from Los Angeles P.D. and the Metropolitian Police Department (District of Columbia). Wish me luck in my job search!

Sounds good. Working for bankrupt companies won't get you far...
Just be sure to read the fine print so you know what you're getting into (and where you might get sent). And be sure you are ready to represent our government (and those in charge) in an official capacity.
Do they fall under the Don't Ask Don't Tell policy?
